Mike Portnoy’s Progressive Nation tour from 2008 will not be a one-off event; he’s announced a second run for 2009, running through North America in July and August of this year. Dream Theater is in the studio recording their 2009 release. According to drummer Mike Portnoy, he has finished recording his tracks. He said:
“Imagine a DREAM THEATER album with ‘A Change Of Seasons’, ‘Octavarium’, ‘Learning To Live’, ‘Pull Me Under’ and ‘The Glass Prison’… all on one album… COULD YOU HANDLE IT?? Excited? I sure am!!!!”
